Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Springfield North

Great experience! The checkin representative was friendly and assisted us quickly. There were no additional people waiting checkin so this certainly assisted in our very smooth process. Parking was easy but confusing when the front parking spaces stated they were only for fuel efficient vehicles. The room was excellent. Available additional bedding was easy to locate. The area seemed quiet and not too busy but we did arrive late and leave early. Great process overall.

Room was clean, shower was good, bed was harder than I would like. Overall it was a good stay for my wife and I and we would stay there again. As expected they had a decent store for snacks, drinks, water, and other things you might need. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. It was decent for what it is, but when you can pick up a decent quick breakfast elsewhere it might be time to upgrade a bit.

Clean and comfortable room. Good Fairfield breakfast. Convenient location (although Google routed us through another businesses parking lot to get to the Fairfield Inn). Both the front desk and breakfast area staff were pleasant. The gym was well equipped (especially compared to most Fairfield's). Seemed a little pricey so we only stayed one night. I'd stay here again.

I checked in shortly after 3 pm on a Wednesday. The front desk clerk could not have been more helpful giving me local directions and happily changing my room assignment upon my request. My bed and bedding were fabulous. The shower head was great. Locatiin in this city was quite hdlpful for the locations I needed to access during my stay.

All night long I had to listen to NASCAR wanna be 4 cylinder sewing machines blasting up and down both major roads near hotel. Nothing against hotel other than they need sound proof windows. Traveling through but I guarantee I’ll never stay in Springfield or Missouri again until they get serious about noise pollution from these $200 gutted mufflers on these cheap $10 4 banger junk cars ALL OVER this city.

Hotel was clean and rooms were large! However, Toni, at the front desk was VERY rude and dismissive! I was traveling with my two young children, we were headed to the aquarium when our car battery was dead. I went to the front to see if someone could give us a jump, they front desk staff stared at me and each other and pretended like they didn’t have cars. I was able to find a kind guest in the parking lot to give us a jump. But would have loved a little help from the front desk who were just sitting there talking. The second issues when Toni was unkind was when we had extended our checkout. I had spoke with the staff the night before about a late checkout and he extended it until 3 for us. The next day we arrived back and it was 3. Our key did not work to get into our room and we assumed that was because of our extended checkout time. I went to the front to see if they could please reprogram our key since we had an extended checkout. Toni was extremely rude about this and it was such a burden for her. Besides Toni and her rudeness, we had a good stay.
